How many miles covered in 9 months and is that creeping around town and/or at motorway speeds?

Would be interesting to know the electric cost over this period to charge the car ?

Which magazine claiming that the Nissan Leaf cost between £600-800 a year for electric charging. Now theoretically if you had solar panels fitted in your house you might be able to reduce that cost, but you still have to factor in the cost of purchasing the solar panel too.
It's a one-year old Audi hybrid - I am not an Audi man/fan so haven't looked up which model.

(Addendun: I was correct - the A3 e-tron was available as a PHEV until November 2018.)

Cost of electricity - I believe he pays £7/week for membership at a local fast charging station and the actual charging is free.

Irrespective of the cost of the car, which is more about chosen lifestyle than necessity, the point here is that there are use scenrios where full electric or hybrid vehicles make a lot of sense e.g. replacements for the equally expensive Range Rovers and equivalents that form the crawling traffic in cities.
