You can buy afternarket parts for jeep but if you have warranty it may void it- ie
not factory transmission oils etc.
As with MGR having a slice of the Texaco N402 oil money, ZF transmissions have
a licencing deal oil wise with Chrysler/Fiat.
A transmission pan for 8 speed ZF via dealer (Mopar)
about $450 aud, afternarket one, about $200 Aud.
The big one is that jeep are constantly updating their cars with software updates,some updates are good, others cause all sorts of issues until rectified.
Unfortunately there appears no cheap programs like Toaf out there to save taking the car to the dealers every time a fault light appears.
