Default Holiday in Scotland...

The Rover has so far done us proud - we've driven up to the Scottish Highlands from Cambridge over the last couple of days for a short holiday. It's the first time we've taken it a long way from home, and done significant mileage and I have to say that it's been very comfortable and economical so far.

We've seen quite a few other 75s on the way up, including a superb turquise mk. 1 tourer on the A66 with a club sticker in the rear window. I was really pleased when the owner of our holiday cottage stopped me this morning to say what a nice-looking car it is!

We went up to Lossiemouth today, mainly to call in at the Buccanneer Service Station for the purpose of visiting XW530 and also picking up a couple of bottless of Scotch (always worth a look if you're nearby and in the market for some whisky).

We've been dodging showers all day but this did mean that there were some superb rainbows around - here it is parked up at the West Beach car park at Lossiemouth.

Do come and say hello if you spot us up here in the Highlands!
