Ellow John. I think it's about 45 miles ish from M/cr airport.. Hellofarun home afterwords though! Well over 100 miles for you.
And -- you have to go up over the Pennines both ways..
It's quicker to go via the M67, then going up over "Woodhead" toward Barnsley, rather than the "Snake pass" route To Sheffield...
My Garmin sat-nav tells me I have "arrived" about 700yds before I actually see the park entrance, (traveling East) so don't get caught out.
It will be nice to see you there.
