You seem to be missing a lot of settings there.
I would copy & paste my snippet into the end of your sys.txt and see if that helps.
I would also change auto_nightmode=0 to =1 and see if that cures the switching problem.
Hopefully the new card will sort you out, but useful to try this anyway just in case it doesn't.
