Would expect the old ones to have stretched somewhat, and the new ones won't be 30mm once under the load of the exhaust ..

And they are alway hard work without pulling hooks .
And lube them up well .

Is there a known best of these options for either service life or exhaust silencing in the car?
A small detail I know but I'm keen to get it right before I struggle to fit them in a very confined space.
I will appreciate any advice or comments - thanks in advance.
