Even if it was worn the arm has to be replaced now as the attempts to seperate so far have split the gaitor
When I've had a problem with separating the inner balljoint before, I heated the area around it with a blow torch then quenched the balljoint shaft with freezing rust loosener spray, all with the weight of the car on the shaft and belted the subframe with a lump hammer.

Sometimes you just have to get heavy with them.
