As the Molykote O ring grease finally arrived and I have two free rest days, I cracked on with pulling off the front of the tourer and fitted the new condenser that I've had for about six weeks. Not too bad a job to do and the old condenser fins didn't look as bad as I expected. Tomorrow I'll attempt to change the section of thick and thin pipes that pass through into the plenum with a spare I got from Colin 2 Diesels. It looks a bit tight to access but I suspect the thin pipe is porous where it lies against the soundproofing after my mate checked the area with his ultra violet light earlier this year and thinks he saw a glow.
If I'm successful, it'll be time to find a good deal on an air con regas.
