The truck manufacturers are testing all avenues to see what is viable before the Euro Cat 7 emission standard comes in in 2025, They will be liable for three digit €million figure fines for missing their targets just like the car manufacturers were They've just cancelled LNG as it was found out to be as polluting as diesel Iveco trialled them with huge LNG tanks but the subsides & LNG infrastructure have been taken down

MAN, the German truck manufacturer, has calculated that the proposed fines of €6,800 per exceeded g CO2/tkm could quickly add up to the “three-digit million range” for manufacturers, which could threaten some of them with bankruptcy."

Speaking of missing fleet emission limits!!! Jaguar are in the brown stuff again for missing their 2020 emission limits & have just pooled with Tesla to offset the fines, They're still looking at £38million in fines.
