Fitted my BMW hybrid widescreen tuner, bought one a while back that turned out defective with no TV output, so ended up having to buy another one.

I don't know why the widescreen set up was never installed on the R75/ZT as it must have been contemporaneous with the BMW E46 etc.

I could probably have bought a modern, all singing and dancing set up for the cost of the BM24, Mk4 drive, widescreen monitor and TV tuner but I don't have any digital downloads and the like and it's not that often I go anywhere that I need to use sat-nav so the OEM set up is quite adequate for me.
