INA is a brand of tensioner pulley for the KV6. Someone on this forum found an INA document describing how this part should be set-up after fitting. MG Rover's official workshop manual to dealers does not include any guidance on pulley replacement or set-up and neither does the much lauded Gates brand.

The pulley can be moved eccentrically and fixed by means of a bolt whose position is not preset by the manufacturer and is supplied loose. The pulley needs to be adjusted to a precise position using an 8mm Allen bit before removing the pin from the tensioner plunger. This procedure ensures that the correct tension is applied to the belt.

INA Service Info: Tensioner pulley; important information for correct assembly.
