Hello Pat,

P0336 does indicate a crankshaft position sensor circuit fault, "no plausible signal" and it will prevent the engine starting. It's located in the region of the starter motor. It has a 3 pin connector with yellow/blue, white/blue and black/grey wires but check fuse 1 in the engine fusebox first.

P0306, misfire on no. 6, could be a consequence of the first fault so I'd leave that for the time being if I were you.
