Default Freelander TD4 clutch difference ?

Lo all, I have always assumed that since the TD4 shares the engine then it shares the clutch system. however I am wondering if the different 'drive' means they use different gearbox and or clutch.

The reason I am asking is that I have fancied a Freelander TD4 for some time but want a manual if possible , however I am sick to death with the 75/ZT clutch situation. I do have a genuine reason for wanting a 4 by 4 unlike some as in the winter our hamlet gets snowed in not to mention a lot of flood water on the tracks round my house.

I see lots of Freelanders with various faults on the web but never seem to see them with clutch slave failure so is it different ? , do they have a more relaible clutch or is it exactly the same and I'm just not seeing them with this fault.

Cheers

Mas
