Red face Slave cylinder

I desperately need some help. I own a 2003 diesel 75 cdti. I am based in Spain. Yesterday my clutch went, again.
The garage diagnosed a faulty slave cylinder. It turned out to be correct.
The new clutch assembly going in will be the third in 18 months. I have driven only 8,000 km in that period. The car has less than 90,000miles on the clock.
The clutch is being replaced again here in Spain.
I do not overload the car, mr & mrs only. No tow bar.
Should the slave cylinder be so free floating?
Should the slave cylinder be located firmly?
In all the replacements, it has been due to slave cylinder going and taking the plate out as a result.
I'm getting disillusioned with my car due to these problems.
Please, please help me.
