Default Drag coefficient...?

Hi all

The car has been sitting outside for a few weeks so was pleased to take it out for a drive in the sun this morning

I watched an absolutely beauuuuutiful E Type going the other way and the topic of Drag Coefficient entered the old brain. It used to be a frequent mention in car adverts of old, but never really thought about it for the 75.

A quick search of t'interweb tells you a lot about the theory, but on a few sites Rover/MG don't even get an entry in the lookup list. (Mercs apparently are very efficient.....)

Out of interest, anyone know how the 75 compared against its peer group cars of the late 90's / 00's ?

Anyone even interested..... ?!

The early design drawings of the 75, I think, look a bit sleeker than the final production .... come to think of it whilst typing this, those drawings look a bit modern Merc like....

Happy Roving, all

John
