i believe the faulty reverse piston was a recall back in the day where some of the early 75s up to about mid 2002 were fitted with a faulty reverse piston (its actually a crack in the parts housing)
It seems that this fault either happens early in the cars life or in some cases many years later.
Jatco made an updated replacement part to fix the issue.
