"Curiosity" got the better of me and I hate to have something fitted that doesn't work, so started hunting on Youtube for Sportage sunroof and managed to find this vid:-

I followed some of it to identify the problems and after a lot of cleaning, WD40 and silicone grease, I now have a fully working sunroof! Just in time for winter!!!
Total cost? Nowt but a few squirts of "consumables"!
