Hi Billy,
Here are two lessons that I have learnt:
- When dismantling, write down each stage in detail because you won't remember everything (unless you've done the same job very recently). Some people take photographs instead but I don't want to get the camera oily and it's sometimes difficult to identify the photos afterwards!
- You can leave the injectors in place and just detach the fuel rail from them. The clips are fiddly but it avoids breakage.
