Has your nephew spoken to the university, surly they have professional counsellors that can help?

He made need more then just tablets, he may need to speak to a counsellor. My daughter was at Nottingham and saw a counsellor who was wonderful, good luck

Thank you very much for the link and I agree with you, that my nephew needs more than pills. I should mention, he has finished with the university. He suffers with shyness, anxiety, depression and unresolved grief, as you know its still early days following the bereavement. These are things his new GP can address, but hold on, we don't know what services are available in the new practice, perhaps Counselling via a via video link or a referral to a professional counselling service.

He has family living in the Oxford area, but they are elderly, not in the best of health from being drunkards and would not be in a position to be of any help.
