Would be interesting to see what was on the service history, things to look for at that mileage is as follows:
Both fuel pumps, slave/master cylinders, clutch, DMF, water pump, steering pump, suspension, running gear etc, engine mounts, brake pipes, I'm sure I've missed something but these are all things I've done at 170k but 90% of that is motorway mileage so if your motor has drove its life on a/b roads all of that could easily show up shortly...
