I was a bit vague, mine is an inline stat by precision components,my question about the sensor location you have answered thank you(i was just interested on location for reference) and now i know, my question on the stat placement is immaterial.problem i have is that warm up is still taking an age (even with inline stat fitted) But with OBD temp showing 70 degrees both sides of the top hose where the stat is fitted are hot (its an 88 degree stat) and even when the FBH fires up and is working temp gets to about 75-78 degrees and then sinks back to 70-72 degrees(this because the FBH stops) then rises again as the FBH kicks in again.Would fitting a hotter stat help? I am stumped to be honest and getting more than a little fustrated.

Regards

Chas
