I recal dmgrs stating that the bearings he sells also fit 25s, but I've had 25 struts in bits, and never seen a bearing worn, or had this rumbling rattle either?

The R3 top bearing is indeed the same, and the way the bearing is mounted in that application is much more satisfactory than the R40.
I have in the past recycled used bearings from a 200 to replace ones on a 75, and they were like new
