Default So... ABS (again 🙄)

Hi there. I have recently had some work done on the Raptor. The front offside ABS light came on and the speedo stopped working. It turned out that the wire had chafed from the sensor. The garage found the hub was damaged as well as the sensor. They replaced both, but the warning stayed on. The speedo is working (though not properly).
When setting off, the light is on but after light pressure on the pedal the light goes off, then when I press the pedal again, there is a grinding feel from the pedal and the warning comes on again.
I am inclined to think that there is some debris in the socket where the sensor is located which is causing the intermittent signal/lack of signal. If anyone has any advice (or links to the appropriate thread) I will, as always, be very grateful. Thank you in advance 👍
