The sailor is taken aback and thinks ,wow a parrott that speaks Geordie, ah’ve got to have it. He says to the Chinaman running the shop,”here mate, how much is the parrott?”The Chinaman says, “vewy sowwy sir but parrot not for sale, however I have egg from parrott for sale £500 . “Ah’ll tek it” says the sailor. .6 months later the sailor is back in HK, and looking tound the same shop, the same parrot speaks to him with” Alreet kidda?Ah knaa yee!” Aye” says the sailor,”Ah knaa yee an all,ya fatha(your father) wes a duck!”
