I don't think so - it's just that the documentary spent a lot of time pointing out the early disastrous results, added to which the French woman interviewed thought that things had reached a sort of commercial stalemate at the moment. She obviously thought something would be possible in 2008but refused to be drawn for the time being. Perhaps the programme makers were not completely objective or had not done their homework very thoroughly either.
I quoted the programme because it's pretty rare for French television to mention the subject at all. On a more optimistic note, there are plenty of 75s (and derivatives) in Brittany and the Loire valley region, most in fairly reasonable condition. Let's hope that the French will rise to bait when and the opportunity comes!
