Don't worry, autonomous cars will be here soon and then we won't have to worry about idiots driving like idiots!

My current car has self braking however in almost 3 years it hasn't yet been used once. That said the traction control did help to save the car once, went round a bend on wide A road only to find that the local farmer had moved most of his field on to the road starting halfway round the bend. Suffice to say that other then the car feeling a little wobbly it went round the bend without too many issues. Sadly the Renault Megan parked in the field with a good chuck of its front end missing wasn't so lucky.
