Its scandalous, there are aprox 38m vehicles on the UK roads and if half of them are paying an extra £10 they are making a lot of money and I suspect it is a lot more than that.
My Uncle was on auto renew with an insurance company, I noticed the paperwork on his kitchen table and asked him why he was paying so much to insure his Metro ( it was in the 90's). He did some enquiring and he reduced his premium on a 1.3 Metro from over £700 to under £200.
