I have seen & repaired the joint on the radiator fail, the intercooler bend bolts to the joint by way of an 8mm bolt, over time the oil can effect the plastic join on the radiator & it cracks then finally one day breaks free.
You have a couple of choices to repair one is push the bend is as normal, and add a couple of stainless steel screws through the intercooler & into the bend where it inserts.
The other is to make a bracket that wraps round the bend and bolts r screws to the chassis arm, in the case had did the bolt & braces so added them both it will never shift again.
