Is any one really going to nick a 56 plate Rover 75?
I would not leave them open in a public area.

It's not so much the nicking of it. I had a '64 Sunbeam Alpine 3 soft top some years ago and parked up at the seaside at Carbis Bay (Cornwall). Left the top down to attend to daughter no. 2 and forgot to put the top up. When we came back there had been some unauthorised deposits made on the front seat and it wasn't seagulls. Celia was not happy. The seat was removed for forceful mechanical cleaning at a garage, and clinical refreshment, and a tarpaulin obtained from a local DIY store. She still had, well, a pained expression all the way home.
