Started last Wed what a job
changed both the front rear wishbone bushes in situ found broken offside coil spring snapped change both sides pain in the b--t trying to compress the springs with borrowed spring compressors which were too short so had to improvise with luggage straps as well took ages
both drop links
both top mount bearings
oil and every filter changed
repaired headlight sensor on offside whishbone
fitted new under tray fixings does not flap about now
inline thermostat fitted
fitted new mini handbrake cable
phew
This Friday fitted new tailgate struts
two new rear shockers nearside one burst in my hand when i removed it oil sprayed everywhere took longer to remove the trim than fit the shocks
fixed tailgate lock micro switch stripped it down cleaned and sprayed with maff cleaner up to now works ok fingers crossed,
busy few days but enjoyed doing it a few cuts and bruises but worth it all
car drives like new now all done by reading the how to's on this great forum Bill.
