Companies do advertise that they can reset the Mileage and is Legal as long as not done to Defraud or give wrong Impression of Mileage.
I have not heard if these have been sucessfully reset, but can not see a reason to do this, Unless changing ECU and Backups etc.

Are you 100% sure on that, I always thought only brand new units would read the mileage from the ECU? But then again what do I know?
