One thing to consider when thinking "cheapest" is, what happens if something goes wrong. If the garage supply and fit, then they have an obligation to resolve free of charge assuming it is a fitting error, or defective parts (so not user abuse).
If you supply the parts, you could end up in the middle of a disagreement about who pays to rectify if there is a problem (imagine both parties claiming the other one should pay)
Ring around, you don't always save that much money anyway....
