John,
Have you checked that your radiator cooling fan is working?
- Start the engine from cold.
- On the air con/heater control panel press the windscreen demist button.
- Get out of the car and walk to the front of the bonnet. Peer in through the radiator grille.
- Can you see and hear the electric fan running continuously (not pulsing on and off)?
Please report back and put out of your head any thoughts of scrapping your Rover 75. We are here to help you fix it when your garage can't.
