My wife put petrol in her diesel Peugeot.

I disconnected the pipe at the filter to get the diesel out.

I put a pipe from my compressor into the fuel filler with cloth packed around it. Slightly pressurised the tank and got all of the fuel out that way.

No electricity or sparks involved.

Still have some of that mixture left after several years now. No use in a car but a very, very small quantity makes starting bonfires very easy.------
