Really sorry to hear about this, Jim. I know from recent experience how devastating such accidents can be - I had the misfortune to be hit by a lorry on my way home from Roverfest (as readers of my post Tragic End to a Lovely Day will know) - but the damage in my case was much less than yours. I am just glad that neither of you was seriously injured. Much as we love our cars, they can be replaced - people can't.
You seem to have had one problem after another with the Jaguar and I hope you are more fortunate with your next one.
