Bit confused now.
Can we have a Union flag and GB on the plate but a separate oval must be UK or is it now plates with a LH side strip with a Union flag and UK (does it have to be a black ground?) and an additional oval is optional but must be UK?
Why is there a differentiation within the UK constituent countries, surely these plate idents are intended for identification outside the UK? Anyone should be free to use Welsh, Ccottish or N.Ireland logos on their vehicles but surely not as part of the registration plate which is a national/Country identity - or am I just daft (no don't answer that)!
