Ok, just to be sure you have swapped the PCB over from your replacement key into your original key with the now working transponder chip which you have also swapped over? Everything from inside the replacement key needs to be swapped over to your original key. Also, the BCU which is now in the car is it the replacement which you have also swapped into the car which will be matched to the replacement PCB? If so then a battery reset might resolve the problem and if not then maybe a resync of the key might do so. The procedures are given on this thread here.
