We had exactly the same situation here today Brian a close neighbour aged 65 passed away with Covid complications, he wasn't in the greatest of health, by his own admission smoking and drinking had taken their toll over the years. Still it's a shame because like your neighbour he was a friendly guy who always enjoyed stopping for a chat.
