Sounds like it could have PCB trouble, have you tried pressing Econ to see if it makes any difference, it needs sorting other wise the brushes will wear down rapidly, you and your friend, are the right place, drop French Mike a PM or contact him to have a look at the PCB.

OK, So where is the PCB located? as there does not appear to have the Box that was next to my Fan before I swapped it over. Not sure, Currently have the front off and cant see a Box where I thought there should be one
I originally thought it could be a relay stuck. I suppose I could try another fan unit and see if that alters any thing..
