should be only a very light film of oil.will be a tight tollerence fit that needs to be on a press ideally. its got to be square and pressed in correctly without bearing damage. not at all an easy task without care. so be very carefull. it can be done with care and thought but a local eng place would do it in seconds and may save you buying another bearing !!!
