Hhmmm, hard to say without seeing it... trouble is, I don't have TOAF (or even a Rover
) any more, so can't run it up on mine.
I *THOUGHT* you could change the port in TOAF... maybe somebody else could have a look on their laptop?
You probably wouldn't do much harm by changing the port in Device Manager, but as I'm not there to help you, I don't want to push you that way... there's not much that uses the COM ports these days, and if it's a modem or something it should reconfigure it to another port if you take one away, but I can't promise.
