Normally it's a sign of t-con board failure, is it more on one side than the other, larger screens tend to have a 4-channel tcon and is split as two channels per side. Also the heat from the psu can damage the bonding of the ribbon cable to the screen, sometimes opening it up and packing some card between the chassis and the screen where the lines are can give a good temp repair.
