Hi Chris,
If you remove the larger of the two plugs from the switch pack, identify the orange and orange/red wires. connect these two wires to 12v pos and neg. If the loom is there and connected then both your mirrors will close/open. Reverse polarity and they will open/close ( just as you did when you tested the passenger mirror off the car)

Fuses to check are Fuse 11 and Fuse 34 passengerside fuse box
