I did use the term mouse nest rather jokingly; I'm certain that no mouse could access the belt area! Nor are there any remains, which I'm sure there would be considering the amount of use the engine gets. The pics I'm trying to publish should show the situation, though I'm having trouble bluetoothing them to the pc at the moment. There was one area full of black stuff, and what looked like wood shavings, but it seems the latter are actually fibre threads from the belt.
