The genuine XPower upgrade only unlocks a certain thing in the ECU.
All 116 are capable of 135.
All the upgrade does is remove a "gateway" to the full map.
The disc on it's own is pointless. That just allows T4 access to an area usually locked. Every disc is the same.
Now comes the clever bit
If you ordered this from XPart, you would receive a disc, instructions, a certificate which in theory you send to your insurance company and a sort of metallic sticker that should be attached just above your VIN plate on the A pillar. What you also get, is the Unlock code for your VIN !
These are unique and are generated by some Pixie at XPart
The 160 upgrade was never official but I understand it works well. Just don't ask XPart for the 160 version
