dont know if the v6 was the same but the only problem which effected both engines on the two i had, was that the tickover stepper motor would not operate properly and used to cut out . it usually happened whilst half way around an island. pretty scary !! almost impossible to turn the wheel. usually a removal of the worm on the inlet and a good soak overnight cured it, if not a new stepper motor. they were designed to save petrol and close off the fuel supply on over run of the engine but dangerous if they did not function correctly. other than that ... lovely car indeed. ...
