I've never heard anyone mention a difference. This is the file list for the 2014-15 disc I've got (works with Low Line).

I'd try a proper shutdown (as in post 16
here) to see if it solves the problem with the 2014-15 disc you've just bought.
If that doesn't work I'd try the same again but this time with the earlier (damaged) disc. You could stick it in your PC first just to see if Windows Explorer can see the files above.
