I have p.m'd you Simon, I reckon those springs have been like that for a LONG time, yet it came witha fresh m.o.t in November! and to think I have had a very heavy cast iron MGB engine in bits in the back!! just shows how well built these cars are.....the last time I had a broken rear spring was in a Mk2 Cortina Estate.........mind you I did have half the kitchen floor from Stratfield Saye House in the back!!..don't even ask!!When the new springs arrive from Rimmers I shall take them into work to get them crack/flaw tested, I cannot believe these springs break from everyday use, we shall see.P.
