No problems yet ..
On engines like the KV6 & Kseries with numerous plastic piping joints using a jubilee clip applies a single pinch point at one side and there is also the temptation is to give them an extra yark up leading to the plastic deforming over time and ultimately leaking coolant from the joint.

This is especially relevant given that the plastic pipe stub is not usually lined with a metal sleeve inside allowing the plastic to collapse over time with heat cycles and chemical attack.

The spring clips give a fixed and even clamping force 360deg and is kinder to the plastic fitting in the long term.
