I've only ever driven K's in these cars but I'd like to throw in my dime anyway.

As a 25 year old who's only ever had an Alfa 147 and a Mito on finance, I bought my 75 (1.8) and the others halfs 25 (1.4) basically as projects to learn more about car maintenance and mechanics.

To my surprise I haven't needed to do anything beyond oil and filter service, plugs and some suspension gubbins.

The 1.8 in the 75 does feel underpowered, but it seems to have a sweet spot in 3rd and 4th where it pulls nicely.

At certain speeds (nothing over 60 though) she gives a lovely warm warble sound which I absolutely love.

My only gripe is the gearing is too short. I'm regularly on the motorway in my 75 with work and it's a bit painful over 65 noise-wise. Oddly though it seems to quieten down at 80 but she gets a bit thirsty then.

The best thing for me though is I have no qualms about reliability and wouldn't think twice about jumping in either of them and driving 1000 miles.
We're regularly on road trips all around the country watching bands live.

My 2014 Alfa Mito had a two-cylinder 875cc affair which honestly pulled alright thanks to the turbocharger. But it felt like cheese and after 3 years it was sounding rough. I trust the aging K-series engines much more.

I have always wanted a V6 but the cost of running (cambelts!) puts me off.
